Multi Story Building for At-Taqwa Masjid & Islamic Center Sylhet.

Assalaamu alaykum brothers and sisters in Islam Due to great favour from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and through your support, it has been possible to buy the first portion of land for At-Taqwa masjid and Islamic Center, Kumarpara, Sylhet. This enabled us to perform Salah with other dawah, Islamic educational and social activities since March 23, 2018. Alhamdulillah, land for the second portion of the masjid has now been purchased as well. Please note that some of our brothers from Sylhet and abroad initiated the process of building the house of Allah in 2007. Many of you are aware that recently we have been struggling to provide space for the Musalleen in both male and female sections during jumu’ah Salah. In order to solve this problem, it has become a necessity to build a multi-story complex. Alhamdulillah, the initiative has been undertaken to construct 4 floors (including a basement) initially. An estimated total construction of 27,000 square feet will be required in this regard. Each square foot will cost approximately 2,500 BDT while each musallah (6 square feet) will cost 15,000 BDT. We request support from all brothers and sisters in order to rapidly build the first four floors of At-Taqwa Masjid & Islamic Center. You can support this noble cause by: - Making dua to Allah for the acceptance of the masjid - Donating, amount per square feet is 2,500 BDT and the amount per musallah is 15,000 BDT (6 sft) - Volunteering to collect any amount of Sadaqah through friends and relatives Since It is not possible to establish Salah and Jama’ah without building a Masjid, therefore it’s compulsory upon Muslims to build a Masjid.
